A AANP paver was recently dedicated to Dr. Nancy Talley-Ross, Dana Professor, former Director of The University of Tampa Department of Nursing, Psych Nurse Practitioner, mother, sister, grandmother, colleague, friend, and “Dear Heart” to us all, peacefully passed from this world on November 27, 2018.
The University of Tampa, the UT Department of Nursing, and the family of Dr. Talley-Ross hosted a celebration of life in her honor at The University of Tampa on Saturday, January 12, 2019 in the Sykes Chapel. A reception followed in the Grand Salon located in Plant Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested for the Caring Nursing Student Scholarship at the University of Tampa, 401 West Kennedy Blvd., Box H, Tampa, FL 33606–1490. Donors should indicate Caring Nursing Student Scholarship on their donation. Nancy was credited as the first NP business owner in Florida who established her NP Psychitaric & Consulting practice in Tampa circa 1976.
